Australia Apr 2013
Destination: Melbourne, Sydney. Apr 2013.
Best photo location we have been in Melbourne was at Twelve Apostles. The drive along Great Ocean Road was covered with grey clouds. Not too photo-scenic. Luckily the weather cleared up slightly, to catch a glimpse of the sunset, right behind what remains of the Apostles. The back-lit photos below were shot with 2 stacked ND Grad filter (2x & 3x).
At Sydney, we traveled to Yarra Valley for the wine tasting. Weather was nice and sunny. We stopped by De Bortolli, Chandon and another one.
With a trip to Blue Mountain, we stayed at Katoomba. One of the scenic view was at Echo Point with a view of the Three Sisters.
We stayed at In My View B&B. The sunset view was breathtaking. A tad lacking in foreground, but a good place to just view in peace.
Alas, what is Sydney city trip without the Sydney harbour! Excellent sunny Friday. A real difference versus the next day which was stormy for almost the whole day.

On the drive back from Lorne, we saw this scenic view. The place where we got the infringement notice for illegal parking. An appeal was lodged, but no news yet. Hopefully this photo does not result in getting the AUD141 fine.
