SPAWN

SPAWN
Wings of Redemption
After a long long break from food poisoning, and yes, I took 2 days of MC just to recover on that, I sat down on my personal project in shooting models. Not real life sized models like Cindy Crawford. But still life models :p

Model courtesy of Dinky Genius =)

Hope you enjoy the series. Too bad after I finished shooting then I realized that this is an evil side/twins of the spawn. Might need to read up a bit before I shoot next time.

Cheerios.

glad you appreciate the shadows..=)

does the shadow above allow u think that it may be the shadow from the 'thing' spawn is looking at?

oops no eh. maybe the spawn's 'expression' does not show.. haha now i know what the shadow above for.

the colour of spawn is very monotonous and dull, will easily cause the object to look flat. and the selection of bright coloured background is a smart move.

the first and second looks a bit under for me. but maybe thats the effect you want to create. :)

and what did you use for the orangie background with a ball of light?

haha sorry too cheong hei edi :P

just that the ones i want singapore no more stock. at least the places i'm looking at.

closest next alternative is to order-in personally. But of coz i want to share the shipping cost due to my low quantity. Would you wanna order too? :p

boss...sony bought Minolta already. So are you going to replace your 7D with the Alpha 100k?

i'm using the 5D.
Don't think i'll get the Alpha100 coz besides for some improvements, it's generally the same as my 5D.

Will wait and see what the next replacement would be like. In any case, the current camera suits my usage =)

are u getting the olympus?

no. the one i am looking at is not good at all. E-500. all though it is cheap, but it is not worthy. I am considering buying a minolta 7D or Nikon D80. Here I can got a Minolta 7D with around $900 USD

But i may not buy because I need to save some money to buy laptop :(. btw... the new Canon 400D really upset me. No "Spot metering" at all...haiz...

i didn't know 7D is still in the market. 900USD =/ 1500SGD.

Quite a good purchase for a good camera. However, I'm not sure whether Maxxum series are covered under warranty in Singapore.

getting dslr will make u to be more 'lazy'. You may not even use the spot metering at all! Can just shoot and shoot.
